Over 115 delegates participated in the annual UCLA Day with Local Government. An orientation and briefing for delegates was held, followed by visits with local elected officials on City Council and the Board of Supervisors. The message - UCLA is engaged and active in your district. Following the visits, a Reception with over 400 alumni and friends was held at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion with Chancellor Albert Carnesale and Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa.
