Given the economic challenges that we as a nation face, we must focus our collective energy and expertise on generating support for higher education. During this year's "UCLA Day in DC," we will be meeting with elected officials and policymakers to discuss the critical importance of federal financial aid programs. By participating in our advocacy efforts, you will have an opportunity to tell your story and reinforce the message that support for student aid and higher education is crucial to revitalizing our economy and moving America forward. By serving as a "Bruin Ambassador" in Washington , DC , you will play a key role in advancing the education, research, and public service mission of our university.
The registration deadline for “UCLA Day in Washington, D.C.” has passed. If are interested in attending, please contact Sarah Petry at (310) 794-6829.
