UCLA Reception Honoring Councilmember Jose Huizar

UCLA's Community and Local Government Relations and the School of Law partnered to host a reception honoring stellar Law alumnus and newly elected 14th District Councilmember Jose Huizar on May 17, 2006. Legislature Passes Landmark Bond Package

On May 5, the state legislature passed legislation that will put a series of bond measures on the November ballot. The package, dubbed the "Strategic Growth Initiative" by the Governor, includes $37.3 billion in bond funding to address the state's infrastructure needs. Read Full Article
